This residential masterplan in Kortrijk, Belgium, stitches a new quarter into the existing historical context of a city famed for it's tradition of textile manufacturing. Using the analogy of fabric a new urban neighbourhood is created, formed by a rich and colourful weft and weave that embraces a wide variety of forms, colours and textures within an efficient and sustainable masterplan. |
